• Here is a list of topics that we will be studying this year from the enVisions program with a brief description of each topic:

Topic 1-Numbers 0 to 5

By the end of this topic, we will know number names and the count sequence.  We will also be able to count to tell the number of objects.

Topic 2-Compare Numbers 0 to 5

By the end of this topic, we will be able to compare numbers 0 to 5 using words like less than and greater than.

Topic 3-Numbers 6 to 10

By the end of this topic, we wili know number names and the count sequence.  We will also be able to count to tell the number of objects.

Topic 4-Compare Numbers 0 to 10

By the end of this topic, we will be able to compare numbers 0 to 10 using words like less than and greater than.

Topic 5-Classify and Count Data

By the end of this topic, we will be able to classify objects and count the number of objects in each category.

Topic 6-Understand Addition , Topic 7-Understand Subtraction & Topic 8-More Addition and Subtraction

By the end of these topics, we will be able to understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from.

Topic 9-Count Numbers to 20

By the end of this topic, we will know number names and the count sequence.  We will also be able to count to tell the number of objects.

Topic 10-Compose and Decompose Numbers 11 to 19

By the end of this topic, we will will be able to work with numbers 11 to 19 to gain foundations for place value.

Topic 11-Count Numbers to 100

By the end of this topic, we will know number names and the count sequence.  We will also be able to count to tell the number of objects.

Topic 12-Identify and Describe Shapes

By the end of this topic, we will be able to identify and describe shapes (squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, hexagons, cubes, cones, cylinders, and spheres).  We will also be able to understand simple patterns.

Topic 13-Analyze, Compare, and Create Shapes

By the end of this topic, we will be able to analyze, compare, sort, and compose shapes.

Topic 14-Describe and Compare Measurable Attributes

By the end of this topic, we will be able to describe and compare measurable attributes.
